Other players not using locators with customised skins that are not yet downloaded into our cache will appear as to us with sails that are solid blocks of colour. This can be frustrating when we cannot see through their sails at marks.
There is a solution however, by replacing the original files in the game these solid sails can be replaced by transparent ones.

Download the replacement files.zip and unzip them. This will create a folder "transparent Vsk5 opponents".
Go to C:\Program Files\32nd America's Cup\GameData\Vehicles\Media\Texture\Image and create a new folder. You could name it "originalskin" for instance. Into the "originalskin" folder drag and drop the seven existing files Sail.dds, sails1.dds, sails2.dds, Spi.dds, Spi2.dds, teammate.dds and Hull.dds
Place the folder "transparent Vsk5 opponents" into C:\Program Files\32nd America's Cup\GameData\Vehicles\Media\Texture\Image also. Copy the seven new files Sail.dds, sails1.dds, sails2.dds, Spi.dds, teammate.dds and Hull.dds and paste them in where you took out the old ones.

The reason for creating the two folders "originalskin" and "transparent Vsk5 opponents" is that you can revert to the original settings easily if you need to.
That's it! No more solid sails at marks!!
